The Club serves as a collective investment vehicle for angel investors, combining their strong business acumen, funds, and camaraderie in a profitable endeavor. The Club was formed for accredited investors and institutions in the Central Maryland area who are seeking active involvement in the investment decision process and in portfolio companies. There are 45 accredited investors participating in the Club and its membership draws from varied backgrounds and experiences that enable the members to provide a strong knowledge base to the Club as it deliberates on potential investments as well as provide broad-based resources to entrepreneurs of portfolio companies. The members gather a few times a year for dinner to go over the status of the Club's investments.

The Club endeavors to provide its interested individual investor members the opportunity to participate in side-by-side investments in portfolio companies on the same terms as those by which the Club itself invests.

The Club is a member of the New Vantage Network that includes several clubs in the Washington, D.C area; The Dinner Club, eMedia Club, The Washington Dinner Club and WomenAngels.net.

The Club is managed by Chesapeake Emerging Opportunities Management, LLC whose members include: American Technology Investments Corp., Steve Dubin, President; Evergreen Capital LLC, Richard Kohr, Jr., Chief Executive Officer; Enigma Technology, Ltd., Patrick Huddie, President; and New Vantage Group, LLC, John May, President.
